Sonitpur: 35 people were killed by suspected militants of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland - S in Sonitpur and Kokrajhar districts of Assam on Tuesday evening.
Five people were killed in Kokrajhar, while 30 were killed in Sonitpur. The killings took place in five separate attacks by the militants.
The victims were reportedly all members of tribal communities.
