Paris: 2 Charlie Hebdo suspects shot dead; 4 hostages, gunman killed in second siege. A nationwide manhunt for the suspects of France's deadliest terrorist attack in more than 50 years ended in a hail of gunfire on Friday. After hours of negotiations in two separate hostage standoffs that shut down parts of the Paris metro area, the two main suspects in the attack on a satirical magazine and a possible associate wanted in connection with the killing of a police officer on Thursday are dead, multiple media outlets, including Le Monde and The Associated Press, are reporting.

Indian MP Qureshi praises Charlie Hebdo attack, offers gunmen Rs 51 crore reward
New Delhi: Even as the world condemns the shocking attack on the offices of French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, one BSP leader, Haji Yakoob Qureshi, has praised the attackers and said he was ready to pay them Rs 51 crore, which he had previously announced as a reward for the killing of Danish cartoonists who had depicted the prophet.
Qureshi had in 2006, offered the sum of money to anyone who would kill the cartoonists of Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten after it published an editorial in September 2005 that included 12 different cartoons portraying the Prophet

10 dead in Gun attack on French magazine Charlie Hebdo that made fun of Muslims
Paris: At least 10 people were killed in a shooting at the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical newspaper firebombed in the past after publishing cartoons in 2011 joking about Muslim leaders,
French TV channel iTELE reported.
There was no immediate official confirmation of deaths. An AP report said a journalist had died and three of police were injured.
The TV channel quoted a witness as saying he saw the incident from a building nearby in the heart of the French capital. AAbout a half an hour ago two black-hooded men entered the building with Kalashnikovs (guns)," Benoit Bringer told the station. "A few minutes later we heard lots of shots," he said, adding that the men were then seen fleeing the building.

'BJP MP and his family exposed'
Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday made public the video footage to expose the direct involvement of the family members of BJP’s South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, in leading the pre-meditated murderous attack on AAP volunteers on Saturday.
These videos (attached with this release) nail the BJP lie that it was a clash and the footage makes it clear that Vikram Bidhuri, nephew of the BJP MP directed the mob to attack the AAP volunteers standing at the DDA park to participate in a TV show on elections.
One of the seriously injured AAP volunteer Amit (video attached) has stated that it was Vikram Bidhuri who asked the mob to attack him when he was trying to call the PCR van to bring the situation under control.
One of the lady volunteer who was attacked (video attached) has stated that she was assaulted and abused by Vikram Biduri and other armed hoodlums.
The video also exposes Deepak Jain, general secretary of BJP South Delhi, who is seen assaulting AAP volunteer Brahm Dutt and his son, both of whom had to be admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre with serious injuries.
Anuj Bidhuri, another nephew of the MP, is clearly seen attacking the AAP volunteers with a rod like object (shown at 1 minute 10 seconds in the video of 1:17 minute duration).
It is also clear from the videos that Bidhuri’s family had reached the location of the TV channel debate with weapons in their car, and are seen in the video taking out these weapons, another nephew Sanjeev Bidhuri is seen in the video taking out rods and sticks from the car.
Another BJP leader Vicky Mavi is seen using a stick to attack AAP volunteers (in the video please find his poster along with the MP).
With the footage now in public domain, the AAP challenges the BJP to deny its contents and wants to know from it what is the BJP stand on the issue now ?
Will the BJP take action against its Lok Sabha MP, whose family members have openly indulged in political violence to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the national capital ?
Is BJP trying to terrorise its political rivals since it cannot fight the battle politically ?
With the video footage now public, Delhi Police must immediately arrest these culprits and book them for having committed the offence of attempt to murder.

Sports Ministry recommends Saina Nehwal’s name for Padma Bhushan
The Sports Ministry on Monday decided to recommend ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for the Padma Bhushan award
but insisted that it did not receive her nomination from the Badminton Association of India (BAI) within the stipulated deadline. “In view of the achievements of Ms. Saina Nehwal, the Department of Sports has decided to recommend her case for Padma Bhushan to the Ministry of Home Affairs as a special case although the last date for making the recommendation is long over,” the Ministry said in a statement.

Terming the Haryana Police’s investigation “worthless”, the Punjab and Haryana High Court was directed to the CBI to probe allegations against Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim of forcible castration of his over 400 followers “for realisation of God”. These followers are reportedly spread over Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and other states.
